MECO 3120 Hanger Bearings

Fully Split, FDA-Approved Ceramic Filled PTFE Hanger Bearings

 MECO 3120 is a malleable, bearing grade material that combines the wear resistance found in ceramics with the dry lubrication provided with PTFE. It is a dry-running, high performance bearing material made possible by incorporating high-end ptfe throughout a heavily loaded ceramic fill.


  The result is a hanger bearing with the following attributes:  

•Low Coefficient of friction                       •High temperature capabilities  
•Toughness                                              •Not brittle like a straight ceramic 
•High abrasion resistance                        •High load capacity 
•Fully split                                                •Available to ship in 1 to 3 days

Woodex Bearing Company’s MECO 3120 is a complement to our traditional, fully split oil impregnated, rock maple “Woodex” hanger bearings. The bottom of the page lists our readily available standard stock sizes. Special requests are also available as we utilize the same material for seal faces in our MECO Seal products.
